"Dragon hide" sheath

At least I think that is what it looks like. I wanted the sheath to be gnarly and rough like the knife it was made for.

Osage Bird and Trout

I made this out of a J Russell blade.I thought it would make a good fishing knife.

Spalted "mystery wood" nessmuk

The customer bought these scales and shipped them to me. I forgot what they were. He said the description said, "BLACK TIGER CURLY MYRTLE BURL". So I guess that is what they are.

The Lone Ranger

I rehandled this Ranger RD-7 with lions blood amboynia burl. Made a sheath and matching firesteel also.

Snakewood and Damascus

I have taken on a commission to put handles on several damascus blades. My idea is to match the pattern of each blade with a suitable wood. This is the first.

Another Nessmuk

This one is another made to order knife. Curly maple handle with red liners. I also made a firesteel with birdseye maple and a sheath. The sheath is set up for vertical and horizontal carry. I wasn't able to do the beltloop like I wanted but it turned out all right. I'd do it differently next time.
